My new job went a bit pear-shaped. Actually I'm really annoyed about it because they just decided to fire me for absolutely NO fricking reason. I didn't do anything wrong - I think they just changed their minds about employing someone :/ My dad said that this particular company have a history of doing that actually so I don't think it was anything I did.

Really bloody annoying tho cos now I'm out of work AGAIN >.> I have an interview on Monday tho so hopefully I'll get another job soon.

On a happier note...

I spent the Halloween weekend in London at a BtVS convention. It was the best. thing. EVER. ^^ SOOO much fun! I met some of the stars (James Masters, anyone??), got autographs, got drunk at the parties... it was awesome! Oh yeah, and a bloke kept hitting on me and asking to dance and he gave me his phone number 8D

The event's on again next year and we've already got tickets! I can't wait!

Ah, I'm in a nostalgic mood today... I've been listening to some of my favourite old tunes from the 90s. They don't make 'em like that any more...

I've also been busy sorting out what I need to take with me next weekend - I'm going to London for 3 days. I am SO excited and really looking forward to having some fun at Halloween for a change. Halloween is my absolute favourite holiday but my dad doesn't like it so we never really celebrated it properly when I was a kid so having a trip away should be pretty awesome.

It's also pretty cool that I'll be going to work tomorrow! I can't stand being unemployed...

I have a busy few months lined up...

My job trial went pretty well. They want me to go in again tomorrow and do a full day and then they'll decide if they're going to employ me or not. So hopefully it'll go off smoothly.

On Saturday I'm getting my hair done and going shopping in preparation for Halloween weekend, as I'm going up to London for 3 days ^^

In November I'm booked in to give blood and in December I'm finally going for my laser eye surgery consulation.

I need to start sleeping better if I'm going to get all this stuff done.

I have a trial for an office job tomorrow... it should only be a couple of hours in the morning but I'm realy nervous about it =( It's not like they're going to ask me to do anything really impossible but I think it's just because there's a lot riding on it. I really need this job and it's close to where I live so it would actually be quite good. Fingers crossed it goes well I guess.

I've sort of got the urge to do some travelling in the next couple of years. My family don't really get on that well and we never went on holidays or anything when I was a child so I've never really been anywhere - the furthest I've ever been is like a day trip to France. So I'm going to try and have a proper holiday next year - I'm considering Italy or Austria. Of course if I can find someone who wants to come that's fantastic but if need be I'll go on my own - I'm just sick of sitting round here not seeing or doing anything interesting. It's a big world out there.

So I'm feeling a tad nervous and restless right now and my stomach is really dodgy. Can't eat.

Blurgh.

I have just had the weirdest job interview in the world.

It was a group interview for a start... we all sat together and a man came to talk to us.

I'd like to be frank here and point out that this man - who would be our 'boss' - was a complete and utter nutcase.

Get this, apparantly his staff:

• Don't get sick and never take sick days
• All have to take their annual leave at the same time
• Never take drugs or pills of any kind (wtf?)

Then he started going on about how drugs are killing everyone (he's a doctor; it was a medical place) and he even slated the Pill. Now, I'm on the Pill, and I chose to go on it because it stops me suffering severe pain when I have my period. I knew the risks when I went on it, and it was MY choice and nobody elses. Who the hell is he to say that I couldn't take it just because I 'd be working for him???

Honestly I think that may even be illegal. And if it isn't then it should be.

The whole thing was nuts. I stood up half way through and left (and so did several others.)

Just got back from a job interview. It went fine but I wasn't really sure about the place, I'm not convinced I'd really fit in there. So I'm not sure about that one. But I have an interview tomorrow morning and now another one on Saturday afternoon! So hopefully there'll be a job there I really like *crosses fingers*

I really want Fast and Furious (Vin Diesel) on DVD but am currently lacking in pennies... >.>

So, I didn't get that job I interviewed for. BUT I have another interview tomorrow and another on Friday, so hopefully I'll have some luck there!

Well I got the interview this morning! I think it went quite well and I really liked the place, everyone seemed really friendly. They're going to let me know how I did on Monday or Tuesday apparantly, so *crosses fingers*

On a different and slightly weirder note: I keep having the same dream over and over again. Not quite sure why.

Sooo... changed my layout to something cute and fluffy, cos I always seem to have depressing layouts for some reason lol.

It would look a lot nicer if there wasn't a whacking great advert right at the top. Anyone know how to move / reduce the size of the ads?? I checked out a few friends' journals and not everyone has the giant annoying one :?

Think I might change some of my icons too... I don't use all of them so I guess it's time for a change.

This afternoon I wached the Blair Witch Project. It was quite possibly the worst film I have ever seen. I have never been so bored in my life.

Anyone who thinks this is a scary film must be delusional is all I can say! lol 8D

I've decided to get another tattoo ^^

I'm going to get a mayfly on my right arm (mayfly have a very personal meaning to me.) I am SO excited about getting inked again!! I'm going to see my artist at the weekend and get him to start designing it for me XDD

Also, I'm currently addicted to this song by Kaleb. The world needs to hear it.

I went to London Aquarium today with a friend ^^ It was pretty good, it was super busy and the directions inside weren't the clearest lol but the animals were awesome. I especially liked the sea turtles and the sharks ^^ Shame there was no octopus though. And I bought a very cute cuddly  turtle in the shop ^^

After that we decided to go shopping, except we couldn't find any shops, mainly because all the signs in London are designed to send you round in a gigantic circle LOL. Oh yeah, and we got accosted by a zombie outside one of those horror attractions XD

I love London - I really think I'd like to go there more often.

I've been ill today. I went out for a meal with my family yesterday and today we've ALL got stomach upsets so I think they poisoned us lol XDD I still feel a bit sick now and I keep getting a pain in my back. bleh.

And also I'm starting to think that I really want another tattoo. Damn these things are addictive...
